Esther Emma-Kathrine (Bienfang) Foote

Esther E. Foote, age 94, of Hayward, WI and formerly of Jefferson, WI passed away on Monday, May 6, 2019, at Hayward Health Services.

Esther Emma Katherine was born November 5, 1924 in Jefferson Junction, WI to Edward and Emma Bienfang.  Esther graduated from Jefferson High School and Madison Beauty School.  She was joined in marriage to Ivan Foote.  She worked for Stopnbocks most of her adult life in Jefferson, WI.  In 2014 Esther moved to Hayward, WI to be closer to family.  Esther enjoyed crocheting, knitting, playing bingo, bowling and watching baseball.       

Esther is survived by her three children, Karen (Warren) Walsh of Hayward, WI, Jill Newell of Loves Park, IL and Bill Phelps of Fort Atkinson, WI; grandchildren, Robyn (Ralph) Koeninger, Kim (Jason) Walsh, Steve (Jenny) Walsh and Kristine Newell; great grandchildren, Stacey (Eric) Cornelson, Angie (Rob) Koeninger, Kaitlynn Koeninger, Emily Newell, Tyler Walsh, Madison Walsh; great great grandchildren, Carter, Conner, Liliana and Ivan; many nieces nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Ivan Eugene Foote; three sisters, Ethel, Evelyn and Elvira; nephew, Edward; niece, Jean; son-in-law, Edward Newell; and great grandson, Tony Rugroden.

A private family service will be held to celebrate Esther’s life.
