Darin Leigh Knowlton, age 56, of Solon Springs Wisconsin passed away on February 19th, 2024.
Darin was born July 10, 1967, in St. Paul, MN. He graduated from Flathead High School in Kalispell, MT in 1985 and joined the Army where he served four years as an electric warfare/voice interceptor. Darin was an amazing bad ass dude who loved his family deeply and would give others the shirt off his back if they needed it. He married Tina Knowlton (Ballensky) on June 27, 1992, in Hayward, WI. Darin loved riding his Harley and organizing biker charity runs with his club ABATE. Darin was one of the best chefs in the state. Honing his craft at the Moose Café and mastering it for the last 20 years at the Bootlegger bar, where he enjoyed sharing his passion for cooking (except chicken wraps) with thousands of satisfied customers.
Darin is survived by his father, Harry Harland Knowlton; mother, Joanne (Moteberg) Knowlton; stepmother, Beth Knowlton; and is the proud father of three beautiful girls, Alicia, Krystal, and Shannon Knowlton. He had 11 grandchildren: siblings, Kim (Arlo) Cook, Kevin (Janice) Knowlton, Jocelyn Marie (Winston Andrew) Sager, Nathen Knowlton, Amber (Shane Kohn) Dawson, and 10 nieces and nephews.
He was proceeded in death by his grandparents, Gilbert and Lilly Moteberg, Bud and Ann Knowlton, and nephew, Tristan Andrew Sager.
Darin will be remembered for his wicked sense of humor, strength of body and heart and generous nature. We send him with love.
