Darrell LaBonte

Darrell A. LaBonte Sr., age 78, of Spooner, WI, died on Monday, November 13, 2023, at his home.

Darrell was born in Superior, WI, on March 1, 1945. Darrell was an extremely hard working man who excelled in every career he had. On October 28, 1977, Darrell married the love of his life, Sylviagean “Jean”. The only thing the couple loved more than each other were their children.

Darrell was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed going camping, four wheeling, hunting, and catfishing. Jean loved going on rides to see the outdoors and the family would go on “safaris” all across the Northwoods.

On March 22, 1999, Darrell’s loving wife, Jean, passed away.

The couple is survived by their children, Darrell Jr., Cory, Jerry, Sheila, Buddy, and Jamie; grandchildren Heather, Memphis, Domanic, and Sylviajean; and Darrell’s sister, Jackie Anderson.

A funeral service will be held at the Spooner Funeral Home on Friday, November 17, 2023, at 11:00 AM with a visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow at the Earl Cemetery.
