Eileen Raasch (Vogelgesang)

Eileen Claudia Raasch, age 77, of Hayward, WI, formerly of St. Paul, MN, passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at Hayward Area Memorial Hospital in Hayward, WI.  She was born on May 4, 1945, in St. Paul, MN, the daughter of William and Terese (Segal) Vogelgesang. 

Family was most important to Eileen and she so enjoyed attending all of her grandchildren’s events over the years, making them feel special and loved! She was a wonderful mother and grandmother!  Eileen had an admiration for all things JFK as well as her MN Twins and Vikings!

She is survived by her children, Kelli Eisenschenk of Oakdale, MN, Dani (Doug) McGarthwaite of Hayward, WI, and Michael Raasch of Hayward, WI; her grandchildren, Andrew, Emily (Jake), Dylan (Emilee), Allison (Randy), Jake (Emma), Ryan, and Emma; her great-granddaughter, Lillie; and several nieces, nephews, dear friends and, of course, Lil’ Fella!

In addition to her parents, Eileen is preceded in death by her brother, Daniel Vogelgesang; and her sister, Kathleen McDonough. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on December 12, 2022 at DeGidio’s Banquet Hall, 425 7th Street West, Saint Paul, MN 55102 (651) 427-1875. A celebration “Happy Hour” starts at 5:00 with a short service at 5:30.
