Gloria Joan Bailey

Gloria Joan Bailey, age 85, passed away on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at Lake Shore Assisted Living in Lake Tomahawk, WI.  She was born on November 15, 1935 in Brookfield, IL, the daughter of Alford and Evelyn (Johnson) Bailey. 

Gloria came down with Scarlet Fever as a child and suffered disabilities as a result that worsened with age.  She was happy and outgoing and a wonderful helper to her mother.  She enjoyed traveling with her family in her younger years.  She loved animals and trips to the Brookfield Zoo.  Gloria loved to dance and was always sewing.  She was constantly cleaning as she was a very neat and tidy person.

She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Gail (Timothy) Visger of Minong, WI, Linda (James) Kempffer of Surprise, AZ, Trish Lucius of Superior, WI, Gary Mack of Wascott, WI, Rhonda Bailey of Westmont, IL, and Thomas Bailey of Ireland; and many great-nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Gloria is preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Mack; her brother, Ron Bailey; her niece, Sharon; her brother-in-law, Robert Mack; and her step-brother, Al Bailey.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at River Hill Cemetery in Dairyland, WI.
