Lars Allen Schnell

Lars Schnell, age 30, of Hayward, WI and formerly of Greendale, WI passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2020. 

Lars Allen Schnell was born October 2, 1989 in Milwaukee, WI the son of Jerry Schnell and Sandra Schmidt.  He was raised in Milwaukee and attended Hamilton High School.  In his youth Lars enjoyed playing football, baseball and basketball.  He also liked to spend time skateboarding on his long board and visiting his grandparents in Hayward.  After high school, Lars worked as a cook for Alverno College in Milwaukee.  He then became a truck driver for V. Marchese, Inc. delivering produce which he did for several years.  In 2020, Lars moved to Hayward, WI where he began work with Hayward Bait.  He was a motorcycle and car enthusiast and loved his pet cat, Mustache.

Lars is survived by his mother, Sandra Schmidt of Milwaukee; grandmother, Ellen (Vernon) Martin of Hayward, WI; two uncles, David and Douglas Schmidt; five aunts, Rhonda Stoetzel, Dawn “Putser” Schmidt, Connie Schmidt, Christine Denny and Rachel Martinez; many cousins including Emily Grace who was very close to him. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Schnell; and grandmother, Carole Schnell.

A memorial gathering will be held for Lars on Saturday, July 4th, 2020 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m at Cat Daddy’s in St. Francis, WI.
