Laura Bongiovanni Obituary

Laura M. Bongiovanni, age 66, of Gordon, WI passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2020 at her home.

Laura Mary Miles was born May 17, 1954 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Calvin and Laura (Sonsikoski) Miles. She was raised and did her schooling in Chicago. On February 3, 1973 Laura was joined in marriage to Nicholas Bongiovanni in Chicago. Laura and Nicholas remained in Chicago until 2003 when they moved to Gordon, WI where they built their home. Laura enjoyed flower gardening, cooking, dancing, arts and crafts.

Laura is survived by her daughter, Nina Bongiovanni of Lake Villa, IL; sister, Joyce Heim; brother, Len Balasa; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Nicholas.

A private burial service will be held for Laura and Nicholas at Fort Sheridan National Cemetery at a later time.
