Patricia Jean (Bennett) McLeod

Patricia Jean “Pattie” McLeod, age 92, of Solon Springs, WI, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at Barron Care and Rehabilitation in Barron, WI.  She was born February 27, 1932 in Superior, WI, the daughter of Edward and Marion (Bennett) Smith.  She was united in marriage to Robert McLeod at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Gordon, WI. 

Patricia and Robert built McLeod’s Drive In restaurant in Solon Springs and owned and operated it for several years.  They then purchased Smithy’s Supper Club from Robert’s parents, Edward and Marion Smith.  They worked extremely hard all spring, summer and fall to enjoy their winters at their condo in Boca Raton, Florida.  Pattie was a very kind woman, one who would do anything for anyone. 

She is survived by her daughter, Debbie McLeod of Solon Springs; her grandchildren, Jamie Hunker and Chad (Jaime) Johnson both of Solon Springs; her great-grandchildren, Ayden Frostman and Halle Johnson; her sister Kay Wille of Eau Claire; her niece and nephews, Matt Wille, Ed Wille and Paige Skiuzacek; and many dear friends.

In addition to her parents, Pattie is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert McLeod and by her son, Robert McLeod Jr.
