Theresa Mary Hutton

 Theresa Mary Hutton, age 92, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 25, 2020 at Aspen Acres Assisted Living in Hayward.  She was born on February 8, 1928 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Francis and Helen (Czyzewski) Dybowski.  Theresa was the youngest of nine children.  She was united in marriage to Arthur James Hutton on February 14, 1948 in Chicago. 

In addition to raising six children, Theresa loved to sing and joyfully sang in the church choir for many years.  She also enjoyed gardening, sewing, painting and long walks.  She was a woman of great faith and was a devout Catholic.  Theresa enjoyed the outdoors especially fishing, going on many family fishing trips to WI and Canadian fly-in fishing trips with her husband Arthur.  She and Arthur also did extensive traveling in the couple’s RV in the 1980s and early 90s.  It was during these many trips that Theresa fell in love with Arizona, where she lived for 11 years after Arthur’s passing in 1993. 

She is survived by her children, Thomas Dale (Karen) Hutton of Winter, WI, Pamela Gail Harsch of Medford, OR, Nadine Patrice Hutton of Santa Cruz, CA, Valerie Mae (Steve) Schwall of Westcliffe, CO and Noel Curtis (Kathy) Hutton of Hayward, WI; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

In addition to her parents, Theresa is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Arthur James; and her son, Lawrence Craig Hutton.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated privately.  She will be laid to rest privately in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Lake Forest, IL.
